Your House of Zolos Journal of Speculative Literature is looking for poetry submissions of as much as three poems; and narrative submissions from 1,000 to 6,000 words, that address the immediate concern of Climate Change. Utopias, dystopias, magic realism, scary, science fiction– all speculative genres are welcome.
The Home of Zolos Journal of Speculative Literature in its third edition is trying to find radical, forward-thinking fiction and poetry that takes a look at the future of our world as it connects to Climate Change.

They will pay authors $25 per poem, and $50-$ 75 per story, for non-exclusive, around the world, serial rights for both electronic and print.

What the House of Zolos Journal looks for in Fiction
HOZ is searching for literature that checks out possibilities for the future.
They want tough brief stories that are character driven, that reimagine the world and our locations in it.
They are looking for: BIPOC authors, feminist authors, LGBTQ2S authors, extreme authors, authors who experiment.
Themes that thrill like transhumanism, expert system, hereditary engineering, brand-new systems, resistance, advocacy, queer viewpoints, feminist viewpoints, nature.
HOZ is not thinking about stories that concern the reinvention of empire, reworking of old stories, or excessive violence.
If related to the existing theme, they entertain all genre based stories so long as they concern the future and specifically.
That said, they are searching for the best speculative fiction stories.

HOZ is trying to find works of speculative poetry that imagine the future of the world, the future of nature, innovation, and/or the human.
Any form of poetry is invited.
Like the call for fiction they are very thinking about radical, BIPOC, feminist, LGBTQ2S, and/or experimental poetry.
You may submit poems on any future associated subject or style but here are some of our preferred areas: transhumanism, artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, brand-new systems, resistance, advocacy, queer perspectives, feminist viewpoints, nature.
The HOZ journal is published as a print and ebook, and journals may be bound together into semi-annual collections.
They ask for non-exclusive, worldwide, serial rights to your work for both electronic and print.
HOZ does rule out formerly published work, and reprints that are presently available totally free online
