As to whether or not Ill be doing any in-person events, its not most likely for this specific release window, offered that things are still up in the air– lots of airline company cancellations, plus the rise of the delta variant, plus the differences in COVID numbers and protocol state to state, makes that tricky. Im not averse to doing an in-person occasion at some point quickly, either, since I am an immunized human * who is happy to meet other vaccinated people! If I have such an event where we might orbit one anothers flesh sacks in three-dimensional space, I will surely put it here on this blog. So I advise folks that subscribing is constantly a good concept, if youve refrained from doing that.

Undoubtedly, I ask that if you take part in an event, you try to purchase a book from the hosting book shop! (They should all have actually signed copies readily available, with a number of signed bookplates at each.) They are kind enough to run these and offer the support and the facilities, and naturally bookstores are a mighty terrific part of the BOOK ECOSYSTEM. If you like books and authors and stories, then supporting an independent bookstore is a necessary part. I likewise hope youll think about purchasing the books of the speaking authors, all of whom are amazing goddamn authors and whose books require your eyeballs. You will be rewarded with excellence.
